Homemade Garlic Fried Chicken

This is the first of many yet-to-come garlic infused recipes that I will share with you.

Here's a fact: I'm a garlic girl!

I cooked this for lunch yesterday even though I just had fried chicken (from KFC) the day before. Who can't say no to fried chicken? It's as basic as staple food!

This is a quick and simple one-bowl recipe. So let's get on with the details:

Homemade Garlic Fried Chicken

Prep time: | Cook time: | Total time:

3 pieces cut chicken (any part will do)
4 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
pinch of dried tarragon
pinch of oregano powder
1/2 cup flour
pinch of garlic powder

1. In a bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients together with some salt and pepper
2. Let the meat marinate for about 10 minutes.
3. Prep the frying pan by heating up the cooking oil.
*You can choose between deep frying and half-deep frying them. I chose the latter because it uses less oil.
4. On the same bowl, dump the rest of the ingredients and mix until it looks like a batter.
5. Deep fry the chicken or half-deep fry them for about 6-7 minutes per side, until they're crisp and golden.
