Woke up to this ashfall in Marikina.
It's not alarming, but one can only imagine how much people living near Taal Volcano is experiencing.
Praying for the safety and well being of the people there.
Now, how to make the most of this situation:
The ash (more like sand, actually) is supposedly rich in minerals, and would make a good addition in your potting medium. Perfect for watermelon plant daw. You can use as skin scrub, too!
Compared to Mt. Pinatubo's ash, Taal has a darker color and the granules are bigger. I'd totally use this as a scrub, if not for my face, then just for legs and feet 😁
